The Hari Bowl is essentially the same ingredients that go into our famous Bhima Wraps, but without the Organic whole wheat flatbread.
First we place grains on the bottom of the bowl. Usually 'turmeric basmati rice', 'brown rice', millet, quinoa, or a brown and wild rice combination.
Then we add a choice of dahl or soup over the grains just to add flavor and moisture if so desired.
Next would be the subjis (two vegetable preparations), followed by a 'kofta ball' or 'vegetable pakora' or chickpea flower 'barra'.
Then we add the 'raw foods' such as organic 'spring greens', organic carrots, organic sprouts, cucumbers, and tomatoes.
Now we can add the 'seeds', usually pumpking seeds, sun-flower seeds, and ground flax seeds.
On top of this we add your choice of dressings made daily by our staff.
Such as 'Ginger / Cashew',or 'Pumpkin / Sunflower / Ginger', or 'Peanut sauce', or 'Tahini / Honey',or 'Italian herbs in olive oil and apple cider vinager',or simply some 'Braggs amino dressing'.
Finally we add some of our own 'chutney' such as 'Date / Tamarind', 'Cilantro and Roasted Coconut' and Arya's famous 'Pineapple and Cranberry' chutney.
For those wishing a real 'fiery' addition, we offer the 'mild' version of Ebesse Zozo Hot Sauce, this award winning local hot sauce is available in stores and you can find out more about it at www.awassi.net |
